Tree & Root Plate Movement Sensors
Utilised when wind speeds are over 15mph, this state of the art technology is used to identify the extent of movement within the root plate area of the tree. Once this information is gathered the likelihood of root failure can be much more accurately determined.
Identify Cavities & High Risk Areas
Sonic Tomography Imaging
A non-invasive method used to create an image detailing the extent of decay inside the tree. Once assessed the tomogram can help to identify the likelihood of failure.

Craig was polite and friendly. Importantly he was very thorough in undertaking the tree survey. Not the “visual walk around” survey (which I always feel anyone can do and I generally known as QTRA) but a good in depth survey, inspecting each tree (a VALID survey).
We had one tree which we had concerns about as it was leaning towards the house. Craig applied a machine to the tree which in layman terms produced a “picture” of the core of the tree.
The written report was easy to understand and would have been useful if we had to fight the local council (obsessed with TPOs regardless of the circumstances) in gaining approval for tree work.
The price was reasonable compared to quotes from other firms. Overall we are very satisfied with the quality of the service provided. We totally recommend Oak Valley.
